Many Hands Make
Looking for a community of creators to get support and bounce ideas? Want to have a creative coworking space to get sh*t done? Need honest and constructive feedback on your work?
Welcome to Many Hands Make! A monthly creative support group for anyone working on a creative project.
As independent artists and creators, it can be extremely isolating to work on projects. Many Hands Make will bring together interdisciplinary creators to create and support one another, facilitated by myself, Tash Atkins.
Many Hands Make acts as a coworking space for creatives trying to carve out careers in creative spaces. It's especially for those looking for support from a community of like-minded people! The session will open with introductions and a brief FYI on what you're working on. We'll set goals and get to work. At the end, we will come together for a brainstorming and feedback session. Bring what you're working on, get feedback and get focused time to get stuff done!
MHM History
Many Hands Make (MHM) was co-founded by Tash Atkins and other creatives in Eora/Sydney in January 2020 to offer community support for creatives. It was initially set up as a weekly support group, offering space to create alongside other creatives, to find community and accountability for self-motivation. Attendees could bring their work in a working bee environment and get support through creative blocks. Unfortunately due to COVID, it dissipated in early 2021.
In 2024, Tash revived MHM by offering sessions in Naarm/Melbourne. Tash aims to facilitate creativity and passion by encouraging a safe space for community building, idea inceptions and creative collaboration. It will offer a point of contact for creatives who often work independently to bounce ideas, get support in a supportive setting, and work collectively.
